SOFTSWIM® "A" - ALGICIDE

Features and Benefits:

Dosage: Apply 1 quart per 25,000 gallons directly to pool water initially. Apply 2 ounces per 5,000 gallons every other week or 1 oz. per 5,000 gallons every week (Pool Emporium, Inc. suggests the weekly dosage.)

*This decreases the surface tension and helps the water penetrate the cracks and crevices where algae hide, "carrying" the sanitizer with it. Reducing the surface tension also allows debris to sink where it will be picked up by automatic cleaners. A wetting agent makes water feel wetter, making for a more refreshing swim.

Dosage: Apply 1/2 gallon per 10,000 gallons initially. Apply as needed to maintain level between 30 and 50 ppm. A maintenance dose of 1 pint per 10,000 gallons will raise the level approximately 10 ppm

As a Shock Treatment: Add 1 gallon per 10,000 gallons directly to pool water. Use entire container at one time. Do not store partial containers. Maintain SoftSwim® Clarifier C level at 20 ppm or higher, as tested with a SoftSwim® test kit. Maintenance doses of 1 gallon per 10,000 gallons are usually needed once every month, but may be more frequent with heavy bather loads, extremely warm weather, or heavy rains.

Handling: Avoid physical contact with product. Follow safety information on label instructions. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not keep partially full containers. Use all product in container at once, rinse thoroughly in pool water, and dispose of immediately. Product is contained in plastic bag to contain leakage. Do not remove plastic bag prior to application. If there is any liquid in the bag, pour into pool, avoiding contact with the liquid (it is extremely corrosive). Keep out of the reach of children.

Dosage: Apply 1 quart per 10,000 gallons for up to 2 ppm metals. Reapply monthly or even more frequently if experiencing rapid loss of Clarifier C.

SOFTSWIM® FILTER CLEANER

Application Instructions: Read and follow label instruction and apply amount needed for filter size.
For sand filters, soak sand with pump off, then backwash. For cartridge filters, remove the cartridge and soak. Rinse thoroughly and allow- to dry before replacing. For DE Filters, remove grids and soak. Rinse thoroughly before replacing grids. Recharge filter with DE powder.
