IN-STORE DISCOUNTS

We are so appreciative of our customers. And although we always try to tell them and show them, we also try to "put our money where our mouth is".

Everyone who isn't eligible for one of our special discounts is eligible to earn Aqua Bucks©. Aqua Bucks© are our way of thanking you for your chemical purchases. You earn one Aqua Buck© for every 20.00 you spend (before tax) on all regular-priced chemicals, to be used on any future visit. And because it's not a gimmick, it's a sincere reward: there's no expiration date on them; and you can use as many or as little as you like at any time, as long as they don't exceed your total sale. And even though you don't earn them on every item, you can use them on anything in our store.

Seniors that are 55 and older can shop on Senior Thursdays. Every Thursday, seniors with proper proof will be awarded a 10% discount on all regular-priced merchandise.

Police OFFICERS, and FireFIGHTERS (those that put their lives on the line for ALL of us) are awarded a 10% discount on all regular-priced merchandise. This discount is good EVERY day, because we understand that working people can't always get away during the week.

And then there are our established, regular in-store customers. They are rewarded with a Swim Suit Saver© membership instead of Aqua Bucks©. This membership gives them a "percent off" discount on the spot! How much of a discount and what it applies to depends on their "playing card". The number of their card is the discount percentage, and the suit of the card dictates what it can be applied to. Get it?

How do you get to be a Swim Suit Saver©? By making Pool Emporium, Inc. your first choice ...For All Your Swimming Pool Needs. Based mostly on your in-store purchases, you must be a regular customer for at least six months before you can be considered. However, that alone does not guarantee you will be awarded the elite status of a Swim Suit Saver©. The occasional purchaser usually doesn't qualify. Nor do you have to buy every single item from us (although we'd really appreciate it if you did!). We have a pretty good idea of what you should be adding to your pool, how much, and how often. We use that as our basic yardstick to determine what percentage of your chemicals, and what (specifically) you are buying from us. Then we take into account how long you've been doing business with us (you are re-evaluated at least once a year). Other factors we consider include: how far you drive to get to us, the number of referrals you send our way, how well you take care of your pool, how consistently you bring in your water for the recommended monthly analysis, if you purchase your parts through us, if we perform repairs for you, etc., etc., etc. You get the point.

Being awarded a Swim Suit Saver© membership one year, does not mean we'll automatically renew your membership the following year. You're in the driver's seat. Only YOU can guarantee renewal and whether or not you'll have as high a rank as the previous year. After all, membership is a privilege, not a right.

So how do we know what you're buying? We've been tracking our customer's chemical purchases for years. We've found that many of our customers don't remember what they bought, when. Some "don't remember what the stuff is called", others don't know how much they've got on hand, and still others are merely running the errand for the pool's primary caregiver. They don't know much. Don't need to, don't want to. Tracking our customer's purchases has been instrumental in providing our superior customer service. Our ability to retain readings from the last 15 water analysis, and our personal involvement and interaction with the customer help us keep them from over-purchasing. It also helps us determine if they might have another product on hand that will serve the same purpose.

On a side note, we're just so picky that we have written our own point of sale software*. Designed by Steve and Loni, written/coded by Darrell, this software enables us to serve you EVEN BETTER. If you're a Swim Suit Saver© it displays that information, Senior, or Police OFFICER or FireFIGHTER, it retains that information. Your discounts are applied and calculated automatically. Your receipt will even tell you how much your discounts saved you! And it tracks ALL of your purchases. So if you've got some oddball part that you bought two years ago and need another one but have no other information, we can go back to that purchase and find the right part number for you!

And finally, there are some 10% case discounts. Certain chemicals can be purchased in bulk to qualify for a case discount. Some cases contain as little as four containers of the specified item, so it's not like you'd need to buy a lifetime supply. In fact, we discourage over-buying. Chemicals not only have a shelf life, but there are safety concerns as well!

So what if we're running a sale, but your special discount would still save you more? We're always looking out for your best interest, so we'll ring you up in whichever manner will save you more.
